About Us

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

 

We, Administration and Faculty of Queen of Angels School, dedicate ourselves to the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical growth of those entrusted to our care.

 

As a Catholic School, we present the Christian principles of love of God and neighbor as a working life force now and for the future.  We are primarily concerned with the development of each child as a whole person and committed Christian.

 

We provide a traditional form of education, striving to motivate each student to attain his/her academic potential by encouraging an  insatiable yearning for knowledge, as well as respect for  self, others and authority.

 

To accomplish this mission, Queen of Angels School:

 

· Provides a Christian environment which accepts each child for who they are
       and presents them with a curriculum that cultivates a desire to learn, and
       above all, to love.

· Fosters the emotional, social, moral and intellectual growth of our students in
       order to develop the full human potential of each child.

· Strives to instill in our students the desire to learn and succeed.

 

OUR PHILOSOPHY

 

Queen of Angels School is a Catholic School of the Archdiocese of Newark which is committed to making known the message and person of Jesus.  We join together as a Christian community – students, families, staff, parish and neighborhood recognizing the dignity and uniqueness of every member - each of whom is made in the image and likeness of God.

As a school we seek to provide for the spiritual, intellectual, moral, emotional, social and physical growth of each child entrusted to our care.

We believe that by teaching as Jesus did, we provide our students with an education that fosters the values of self-respect, self discipline, and respect for others; instills an awareness of the responsibilities  of service to others and stewardship of our environment; develop skills and attitudes that will lead to a life long desire to learn, a striving to do one’s best, a positive approach to challenges and the ability to make correct choices; and promotes consistent non-violent responses to conflictual situations.
