Students are dismissed at 12:00 pm on the first Friday of each month unless otherwise indicated in the school calendar, so that the faculty may attend professional meetings.  Arrangements must be made by parents/guardians to pick up their children on these and other half days.  The school is not responsible for the supervision of students after 12:30 pm.

Parents/Guardians will receive a yearly calendar of events and school holidays as well as a monthly parent newsletter listing monthly events.  Emergency closing of school due to inclement weather will be announced on radio 710 AM and on television on News 12.  You may also call the school at 973-642-1532 for messages announcing emergency closing.

Our curriculum is closely aligned with the Core Curriculum Standards of the Department of Education for the State of NJ and the Archdiocese of Newark.   As a result, all students receive five and one half hours of instruction each day.  Each teacher plans a daily schedule of subjects in accordance with these guidelines.  The eight regular subjects taught include Religion, Reading, Composition, Language Arts, Spelling, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.  Special subjects are Music, Art, Physical Education and Computer Literacy.

Spanish is taught in Grade 8.
